Welcome to Sauna Mökki, an authentic wood-fired, outdoor sauna experience proudly based in the Lancaster and Morecambe area. Born from a profound love for wild swimming and tracking down the best outdoor saunas across the Lakes and Wales, we decided it was time to bring the restorative, natural heat to our own backyard in Lancashire.

Our Outdoor Sauna: What began as a standard removals box trailer has been meticulously renovated into a sanctuary of warmth and relaxation using authentic Finnish design as inspirational. At the very heart of Sauna Mökki sits our traditional wood-burning stove. We selected this specific stove for its advanced technology, ensuring our heat is not only deeply soothing but also exceptionally clean and eco-conscious.

Katy Davies & Sammy Smith – Your Sauna Hosts Katy and Sammy are the warm, welcoming faces of the operation, dedicated to guiding you through the ancient ritual of heating up and cooling down. Passionate about outdoor wellness and community, they are here to ensure the fire is roaring and you leave well-rested and restored.

Hannah Ford - Events and Development Sammy’s daughter, Hannah, is the organisational powerhouse keeping our operation on the road. From managing us all and keeping us in check, she’s got grand plans for Sauna Mökki.

Stuart Mayor - Chief Sauna Builder & Lead Engineer Stuart is the visionary craftsman and resident nerd who looked at an empty box trailer and made our dream possible. Responsible for the complex engineering and custom woodwork, Stuart built Sauna Mökki from the ground up.

Where to Find Us

We are incredibly excited to officially open our doors for the Halton Millfest Launch on September 12th in Halton, Lancaster. After bringing the heat to the mill, Sauna Mökki will be rolling to a beautiful, permanent site close to Halton in late September, offering a stunning natural backdrop to complement your sauna and cold plunge experience.
